Weekend News

Milan- I stayed home because it was raining. I played with my brother. We watched Lion King. My cousin came over, she was going on the phone and she was upstairs in my brother's room.

Cameron- I played tag with Ben. I also played Nerf with Theresa and Ben and myself. I readed with Theresa. We were eating pizza, big pizza was really yummy.

Thea- I went skiing with my daddy. I went super fast! I went faster than daddy when he was going skiing. I got skis and a helmet and ski boots. I got hot chocolate after I went skiing and then I went home. I went on a chair lift. I went on it a lot of times. I keep skiing but I wanted to go on the chair lift again. I keep going right. Daddy teach me. I had so much I went again! I also had a muffin on the next day.

Asa- I slept and slept. My mommy let me watch Thomas the train. I got a spider slime and a spider inside it and I got a eagle too! I got two toys! 

April- Cameron came to my house. We played hide and seek. 

James- I played with toys. Play magnatiles with Harry. We build cars. 

Reyn- I go with mommy at home. Mommy paint my nails. I go with mommy and daddy and grandma. 

Jacob- I had my birthday. First, we did dino digs. Before dino digs, me and my friend made a car track. It went vroom! We digged the dino digs. You soak the dinosaur dino dig eggs. Then we had cake. Then all of our friends left. 

Molly- Me play dog. Me play doctor. Me see my bones inside my body. 

Jamesy- I went scootin' with mommy and Maisie. 

Amelia- I played with Golden. I watched a movie with mommy. I called Mr. Derrick. I showed him I was jumping off the couch.

Vivian- After school, I drived to the movies to see Frozen 2 with Grandma. During the movie, I had candy and popcorn. I went to Grandma's house and watched Peter Pan. I sleeped in a sleeping bag. We had a picnic on the floor for dinner. I ate a blueberry bagel, bacon, strawberries, and milk. 

Alycia- I played new game with mommy and daddy. I buyed toys. I made DJ feel better.

Cam- I went to Urban Air with daddy and my cousin. We played on the trampoline. Then we played with my toys. 

Almy- I changed my earrings. I watched a movie about Tinkerbell with my family. I had vanilla strawberry gummy ice cream. We got new flowers in my house. 

The Cardinals' morning began in art with Amanda. Friends gathered around the big table, did a breathing exercise, and got ready to listen to what they would be doing today. Amanda explained that friends would be making art handles. To do this, Amanda said that everyone will get a wire and a bunch of beads. Amanda did a quick demo to show friends how to put the beads onto the wire. Soon, each Cardinal took their seat at one of the smaller tables, chose which color wire they wanted and started putting beads onto that wire. Friends used their pinch grips and hand-eye coordination to place the beads onto the wire in the order of their choice, whether it be a pattern, rainbow, or random order. While friends worked, you could hear them sifting through the beads, calling out the different colors they found and were using, and counting how many beads they had placed on their wire.

After art, we came back to the classroom for morning meeting, snack and choice time. To go wash hands for snack, friends were asked their favorite color and why.

Although not pictured, we went to the library today to listen to a read aloud and check out new books. We also went outside for some exercise, fresh air and large motor fun.
