Weekend News
Molly - Me play my babies and me make ornament and me sing jingle bells.
Asa - I watch Give a Mouse a Cookie. I ate a bagel.
Joseph - When we were sleeping our smoke detector started beeping cause the batteries die. Me and Juilet was playing in the playroom and we both made a mess. We put the ornaments on our Christmas tree. We play outside a little but it was cold.
Cam - I play with toys and I eat pizza.
Jamesy - I had cake at my house and Tristan come too. We got too many people at my house. Nanny give me presents, it toys.
Thea - I went to Vivian's house and I saw Santa Claus. I got a candy cane and I made cookies at Vivian's house. We made chocolate cookies and they were gingerbread and dinosaur.
Amelia - I go to the museum and I saw my art and we look at more art. I went swimming with grandma and mommy. The next day, we went to the zoo and saw Santa. I went to basketball and that's it.
Almy - I went to New York City to see the giant Christmas tree. I went to eat donuts but they run out of them. I bought a lovie at a toy store. I bought bath bombs and one can change the bath to different colors. I got a photo and a selfie at the big tree. I go with my mom and dad but my mommy still there. She coming back today.
James - I play toys. I play with Harry the whole time.
Reyn - I eat food and strawberries. I got a surprise at my Gigi's house. I play with mommy.
Cameron - I play family with mommy and daddy and Ben and me. I jump on the bed with Ben, it so much fun.
Alycia - I sleep in my bed. I play mommy and daddy.
Vivian - I woke up and I play with my grandma cause she sleep over my house on Friday. Thea came over to my house and we made cookies and then Santa came on his firetruck and we got to go inside the firetruck. Thea stayed and played a little more and had dinner with us. We had a dress-up party and a pajama party and then Thea went home. The next morning, I woke up and had breakfast and went over to my old friends with another friend and we played a lot. Then, I went home and had some dinner and it was time for bed. The end.
Milan - My cousins came over and they got me some pies. I play with my brother and we give my cousins hugs cause they were going back home.
Today we welcomed Jamesy's mom, Melissa, dad, Jim, and sister, Maisie, who came to share their family tradition with us. Jim explained that he and Jamesy both have Christmas birthdays so they like to incorporate Christmas into their birthdays. So today to help incorporate Christmas into their birthdays, Jamesy's family shared that we would celebrate with a Santa pinata. But first, the Cardinals took their seats at the tables to create their very own mini pinatas to collect the treats from the big Santa pinata. Friends chose from different colored ribbon and tissue paper to decorate their pinatas.
Jim shared pictures from his Christmas birthdays when he was a child.
Then it was time to celebrate Jamesy's birthday with warm pizza lunch and cupcakes.
